Founder’s Office Intern: Roblox Research

Meta Fashion makes virtual fashion for Roblox. We’re looking for a student who grew up playing Roblox or other games, understands why players care about their avatars, and loves finding opportunities other people have missed. You’ll work directly with the founder to turn that curiosity into better product decisions.
What you'll do
- Find the gaps. Explore Roblox catalogs, games and communities to understand what players want, what already exists and where we can make something better.
- Research with a point of view. Bring evidence, not just screenshots: who the item is for, why the opportunity exists and what we could make.
- Work with AI tools. Use Claude and our in-house systems to research faster, connect signals and build repeatable ways to stay ahead of trends. Check your findings against the actual market.
- Help ideas become products. Work with the founder and creative team on short briefs, then follow launches to see what players choose. The founder makes the final product calls.
What matters
- You’re genuinely interested in Roblox, games and internet culture. You can go deep on a question, explain your reasoning clearly, use AI without outsourcing your judgement, and keep moving when the answer isn’t obvious. You care about whether your ideas work, not just whether a deck looks good.
- Students from any university can apply. We care more about curiosity, research ability and the work you’ve done than the name of your college. A project where you spotted a gap, tested an idea or built a useful system tells us a lot.
How to apply
Tell us about one Roblox category, player community or style you think is underserved. Show a few examples of what exists, what’s missing and one item you would explore. Links, screenshots or a short document are all fine. Include a project that shows how you think, even if it was outside Roblox.
